What a cute duckie! I'd be worried the ears would fall off, do you use hot glue to keep them on?

I use silicon glue, which bonds pretty nicely to the duck body and sculpey clay. I certainly have had ears falling off before, but it's not something you'd expect just having the duck sit on display, it usually takes a decent impact since silicon glue also dries flexible.

Ahhh okay, that's good to know x3.

May I ask but what got you into painting ducks? ... it's not something one comes by often.

Oddly enough I got into it because I did come by it. I was at Connecticon in 2006, I think, or 2005, and I found someone making these ducks. She used something else for the hair that I decided I could replicate with sculpey. Basically I was like, in middle or high school, and I really wanted one but I had a limited budget. So I bought the cheapest one she had and she never came back to that con again (and her website was empty) so I just decided I'd move from my old hobby of painting wooden boxes to painting rubber ducks. AND A BRILLIANT DECISION THAT WAS!
